SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum Series

A SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum Series was conducted to introduce the SCAD Program to the local government unit (LGU) officials, non- government organizations (NGOs), private sector representatives from business, academe, Church, professionals and civic organizations, government organizations (GOs), other stakeholders and interested groups and individuals.

SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum SeriesThe first leg of the series was conducted in Tarlac City, Tarlac on December 12, 2007. During the forum, Gov. Victor Yap encouraged his constituents to support the development of the SCAD Corridor because of its potential to spur economic growth in the province.
SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum Series The second leg was held in Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales on January 17, 2008 with several key p[rovincial and city officials in attendance, who also expressed their support of the harmonized and focused developmental thrusts of the national government.
SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum Series During the 3rd Forum held in Balanga City, Bataan on April 25, 2008, Gov. Enrique Garcia Jr. declared his gratitude to the SCAD Council and pledged the support of the Province of Bataan in the development of the SCAD Corridor. He encouraged all member-provinces to close ranks, get their acts together, cooperate, get united and solve their problems together for the sake of the country and their people.
SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum Series The 4th and final leg of the SCAD Mega Logistics Hub Forum was held in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga last July 10, 2008. The forum was attended by various government officials, including Pampanga Gov. Ed Panlilio, Vice Governor Yeng Guiao, 2nd District Rep. Mikey Arroyo, Candaba Mayor Gerry Pelayo, CDC President Benigno Ricafort, CIAC President Victor Jose Luciano and CIAC Chairman Nestor Mangio. SCAD Council Chairman Sec. Pamintuan presented the legacy projects of President Arroyo that would accelerate the development of the Corridor as a competitive logistics center.
